Pool Equipment, Repairs and Pool Service in Fourways

Fourways is a fair drive from our office in Centurion, and we would rather be upfront about what that means than pretend it is next door. For Fourways, Dainfern, Cedar Lakes, Broadacres and the surrounding suburbs, we are strongest on the jobs that justify the trip: supplying and fitting equipment, repairs, sand changes and green pool recoveries. Weekly maintenance is possible where it fits an existing route, and we will tell you honestly whether yours does.

Here is how we work in Fourways, what it costs to get equipment delivered here, and the pool problems that come up most in this part of northern Johannesburg.

How far Fourways is from us, honestly

By road, most of Fourways sits roughly in the middle of our delivery range — beyond Midrand, before the far edges of Johannesburg. A visit here is a highway trip rather than a local drive, and Fourways traffic around William Nicol and Witkoppen is notorious enough that the time on the road matters.

That is why we plan Fourways work rather than squeezing it in. A once-off job, an installation or a repair gets a proper slot. For weekly service, send us your suburb and we will say plainly whether we can serve you well on a regular day; a pool company that visits late every week because the route does not really work is worse than one that says no.

Cluster complexes and security estates

Fourways is full of cluster developments and security estates — Cedar Lakes, Dainfern, Fourways Gardens and dozens of smaller complexes along Cedar Road and around Broadacres. Many have one shared pool; others have a small pool per unit. Both need access arranged in advance: contractor registration for the estates, and a gate code or a resident on hand for the smaller complexes.

If you are a trustee or managing agent for a Fourways complex with a shared pool, our commercial and body corporate page explains how we handle routine visits, reporting and budgeting for bigger jobs.

Equipment delivered and fitted

A lot of what Fourways homeowners need from us is equipment: a replacement pump, a new filter, a salt chlorinator, a robotic cleaner or a heat pump. All of these are in our online shop, paid through PayFast, with a minimum online order of R3,000 that a pump or heat pump clears on its own. Add the installation item to the same order and we deliver and fit in one trip.

Before you buy, send us photos of your existing equipment and the pool. The right pump depends on the filter and the pool size, not just on what the old one said on its label, and a quick check before ordering saves a second trip later.

Make one trip do several jobs

Because the drive is part of the cost of any visit, Fourways work is at its best value when jobs are combined. If the filter needs new sand and the pump has started to whine, doing both on one visit makes more sense than two separate trips a month apart. The same goes for fitting a new chlorinator while the pool is being recovered, or replacing a pool light at the same time as an equipment service.

When you message us, list everything that is bothering you about the pool, even the small things. We would rather plan a full visit than come back next week for the part nobody mentioned.

Why Fourways pools go dull

A common Fourways complaint is not a dramatic green pool but one that never quite sparkles. Busy summer weekends, sunscreen and body oils, and filters that have not been serviced in years leave water that looks tired even with the chlorine right. The fix is usually mechanical: backwashing properly, changing sand that has clumped, and making sure the pump runs its full hours despite load-shedding.

When a Fourways pool does go properly green — usually after a holiday away or a pump failure — green pool recovery starts at R1,200, priced by pool size. A single well-planned visit plus a few days of filtering usually brings it back.

Pool questions from Fourways

Do you offer weekly pool service in Fourways?

Where it fits our routes. WhatsApp 081 577 5051 with your suburb and we will tell you honestly whether we can visit reliably on a regular day.

What does it cost to deliver a pool pump to Fourways?

Most Fourways addresses are in our R650 band, measured by road from Centurion. The checkout shows the exact fee when you enter your address.

Can you install the equipment you deliver to Fourways?

Yes. Add the installation item to the same order and we deliver and fit in one visit, booked once your payment has cleared.

My Fourways pool is never really clear. What is wrong?

Usually the filter: sand that has clumped or worn smooth, or a pump that is not running its full hours. A sand change and a check of the timer often fix it.

Can you work in Dainfern or Cedar Lakes?

Yes, with contractor access arranged through the estate beforehand. Let us know the procedure when you book.

Do you service shared pools in Fourways complexes?

Yes, on a quoted schedule for the complex. For comparison, our residential weekly plans start at R950 a month.
