The shop is organised by department, the way people actually look for pool equipment. Product pages give the specifications, the price, and whether the item is held or ordered in for you with its lead time.

What sells online right now, and what to WhatsApp for
While the full online store is being rolled out, the larger items sell online: pumps, filters, heat pumps, chlorinators, robotic cleaners and other equipment priced from R3,000, along with specials, services and installations. The minimum online order is R3,000, and a booking that is only a service has no minimum.
Pool chemicals and smaller parts are listed so you can see the range, but for now they are ordered on WhatsApp rather than through the checkout. Send 081 577 5051 what you need and we will arrange it. Pool covers are always quoted after we measure your pool, because every cover is made to shape.
Paying: PayFast, including Instant EFT
All online payments go through PayFast, South Africa's established payment gateway. On the PayFast page you can pay by card, by Instant EFT straight from your bank, or by SnapScan. Your card details are entered on PayFast's own secure page, never on ours.
Your order is confirmed the moment PayFast tells us the payment has settled, and you get an email confirmation. If you close the page before paying, the order waits unpaid, and we can send you the payment link again.
We do not take cash, and there is no counter where orders are paid in person. That keeps every order, receipt and refund traceable through one system.
Delivery priced by road distance
Every delivery is a trip in our own vehicle from Centurion, so the fee is set by the measured road distance from our office to your address, not by province. The checkout measures it for you when you enter your address.
- Up to 10 km: R350 — Centurion, Irene, Lyttelton, Doringkloof, Eldoraigne
- Up to 20 km: R450 — Midrand, Kyalami, Wierdapark, Highveld, Olifantsfontein
- Up to 30 km: R550 — Pretoria East — Faerie Glen, Moreleta, Garsfontein, Menlyn, Waterkloof
- Up to 50 km: R650 — Johannesburg north — Sandton, Randburg, Fourways, Bryanston
- Up to 65 km: R850 — Kempton Park, Edenvale, Roodepoort, Boksburg
Where we do and do not deliver
Beyond 65 km there is no published delivery price: WhatsApp us and we will quote it by hand if we can do it. We do not deliver into the Pretoria or Johannesburg CBDs, even though Pretoria's CBD is well within distance — you can collect from us in Centurion instead, or WhatsApp us to arrange something.
Centurion addresses sit in the nearest band because our office is in Die Hoewes, so Centurion customers pay the least for delivery. If the checkout cannot measure your address, check the street, suburb and postal code, or send it to us and we will work it out.
Held in stock or ordered in
Not everything in the shop sits on a shelf in Centurion. Many products are ordered in from the supplier when you buy them, and the product page says so, with the expected lead time, before you pay. We would rather show you "ordered in" honestly than a stock count we cannot stand behind.
When an ordered-in item arrives, we message you and arrange delivery or collection. If there is a problem with supply after you have ordered, we contact you straight away rather than leaving the order sitting. Our returns and refund terms are published on the Returns page of this site, and any refund goes back through PayFast.
Buy it and have it fitted
Most equipment we sell, we also install: heat pumps, chlorinators, filters, pumps and pool lights each have an installation item in the Installations department at a fixed fitting price. Add it to the same order and the installation is booked once your payment has cleared, at a time that suits you and our install team.
If you are not sure what you need — whether a pump is the right size for your filter, or whether a chlorinator suits your pool — WhatsApp us before you buy. Quoting new equipment or an installation costs nothing, and we would rather sell you the right item than the most expensive one.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a pool shop in Centurion?
Crystal Reef runs an online pool shop from our office in Die Hoewes, Centurion. You order and pay online, and we deliver by distance or you collect from us by arrangement.
How much is delivery?
It depends on the road distance from our Centurion office: R350 within 10 km, rising by band to R850 at 65 km. The checkout calculates it from your address.
Can I pay by EFT?
Yes, through PayFast's Instant EFT, which pays directly from your bank and confirms immediately. Card and SnapScan are also available on the PayFast page.
Can I pay cash?
No. We do not handle cash; every order is paid online through PayFast so it is recorded and traceable.
Is there a minimum order?
The minimum online order is R3,000. A booking that contains only a service has no minimum.
Do you deliver to Pretoria CBD or Johannesburg CBD?
No. You can collect from us in Centurion instead, or WhatsApp us and we will try to arrange something.
