Getting new pool equipment fitted properly

Buying a pump, filter, chlorinator, light or heat pump is half the job; fitting it correctly is the other half. Poor plumbing and wiring cause more early failures than poor equipment. A pump starved by narrow suction pipes cavitates and wears out early, a filter plumbed without unions cannot be removed for service, and a chlorinator wired to run without water flow damages its own cell.

The items here are fixed-price fitting jobs for the equipment Crystal Reef sells, done by our own team and quoted in writing. Each is booked once your payment has cleared, at a time that suits you and the install team. If your existing pipework, base or DB box cannot take the new unit, that is pointed out and quoted separately before any work starts.

A heat pump is the largest of these jobs. It needs a level base, space around the unit for air to move, its own electrical circuit and a bypass in the plumbing so the water flow is shared correctly between filter and heater. Settling those details at the outset avoids a second visit.
