Pool Service in Pretoria Now Has Its Own Page
We have published a dedicated page for pool service in Pretoria. It covers Pretoria proper: the older central and southern suburbs around Groenkloof and Muckleneuk, the Moot, Pretoria North and the western suburbs. The eastern suburbs, from Menlo Park and Lynnwood out to Silver Lakes, already have their own Pretoria East page, which covers the estates and routes on that side of the city.
We service these pools from our office just south of the city, in Die Hoewes, Centurion. The new page sets out what makes Pretoria pools different, so you can see what we look for before you contact us.
What the Pretoria page covers
- Mature trees and leaves. Many of Pretoria's older streets have large trees overhanging pools that were built decades ago. Leaves sink, stain the surface, feed algae and block the weir and pump baskets, which cuts filtration.
- Warmer summers. Pretoria sits lower than Johannesburg and runs warmer through summer. Warm water uses chlorine faster and grows algae faster, so chlorine and pH need checking often and the pump needs its full run-time.
- Older equipment. In the Moot and the northern suburbs it is common to find pumps that have been rewound, filters whose sand has never been changed and valves leaking to waste. Much of that can be repaired rather than replaced, and we say which parts are worth keeping.
- Old plumbing. Decades-old pipes, tree roots in joints and settled paving can all mean water loss. The page explains the bucket test and when leak detection is worth it.

Shop orders and the CBD
Orders from our online shop are delivered from Centurion and priced by road distance. The southern Pretoria suburbs usually measure into the R450 or R550 bands, and Pretoria North and the northern suburbs can measure further. We do not deliver into the Pretoria CBD itself, even though it is within distance. If you are in the city centre, you can collect your order from us in Centurion instead.
