Our Online Pool Shop: Pay by Card or Instant EFT
Alongside our pool service, Crystal Reef runs an online pool shop from our office in Die Hoewes, Centurion. As of September 2026, here is how it works: what you can buy online, how you pay, and how your order reaches you. The full details are on our pool shop in Centurion page.
What is in the shop
The online shop is organised by department: pumps and motors, filters and filtration, chlorinators, pool cleaners, heating, pool covers, lights and electrical, and equipment and parts. There is also an Installations department, because most of what we sell we can also fit, at a fixed fitting price you can add to the same order.
What sells online right now
While the full online store is being rolled out, the bigger items sell online: equipment priced from R3,000, such as pool heat pumps, pumps, filters, chlorinators and robotic cleaners, plus specials, services and installations. The minimum online order is R3,000, and a booking that is only a service has no minimum.
Pool chemicals and smaller parts are listed so you can see the range, but for now they are ordered on WhatsApp rather than through the checkout. Pool covers are made to shape, so they are measured and quoted in writing, never priced online.
Many products are ordered in from the supplier when you buy them. The product page says so, with the expected lead time, before you pay.
Paying: card, Instant EFT or SnapScan
Every online payment goes through PayFast. On the PayFast page you can pay by card, by Instant EFT straight from your bank, or by SnapScan. Your card details are entered on PayFast's own page, never on ours. Your order is confirmed once PayFast tells us the payment has settled, and you receive an email confirmation.
We do not handle cash. Every order is paid online, so every order, receipt and refund can be traced through one system.
Delivery by road distance
Deliveries go out in our own vehicle from Centurion, so the fee is set by the measured road distance from our office to your address. The checkout measures it when you enter your address:
- Up to 10 km: R350
- Up to 20 km: R450
- Up to 30 km: R550
- Up to 50 km: R650
- Up to 65 km: R850
Beyond that there is no published price; WhatsApp us and we will quote it if we can do it. We do not deliver into the Pretoria CBD or the Johannesburg CBD. You can collect your order from us in Centurion instead, and we let you know when it is ready.
